new beginnings

i decided to start a blog after a long discussion with kelly about how we missed xanga, so we decided to get back with blogging because it would be easy to keep updated on the lives of our friends. we thought blogspot was more mature, probably because my user name was something horribly embarrassing like XxX***foxygirlbabypie***xxXXX


i am really looking forward to this year, i am moving into my first apartment with my two best friends!
i think it will be a great time, but i also thing we will learn a lot. i am hoping this year will run a little more smoothly than last year, and even though the year sucked, i learned a lot. i was reminded of what should be obvious but too often is not, that each day, each hour and minute is worth cherishing.

my oldest sister got married this summer. it was an incredible day and i feel blessed to have been apart of it. there is something about seeing her so happy that just brings tears to my eyes. unfortonately my sister and new bother in law live 3 hours away so i dont get to see them as often as i would like. ive been devising a plan to bring them to columbus. ill keep you posted on that.

ive had a draining summer and am glad to share that i only have one more week of classes before finals. and all through this exhausting summer ive found my strength in knowning that there is a plan for my life that might not be what i have in mind, but is ultimately for the better.

do not worry about anything, instead pray about everything. tell God what you need and thank him for all he has done. if you do this you will experience God's peace which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. -philippians 4:6-7

so, 180 hours, 11 exams and 10 weeks later, i am awaiting my week and a half summer break. fml.
